Koerwoud

Koerwoud was inspired by the fine indigenous forest of the Garden Route in the majestic Tsitsikamma mountain range. It is a scene that engages all senses; the cool feel of the forest, the happy chatter of exotically beautiful birds, the distinct smell of rain on a thousand tree barks, the vibrant shades of green with hues of earth tones and the taste of a freshwater stream making its way down the Tsitsikamma mountain. Koerwoud was designed to transport you into one of our most beloved landmarks and transform your home into a wonderworld where whimsy lives.

The design comprises of historic prints that dates back to the 1800’s by various renowned artists. A collection of Birds, Fish, African Wildlife, Botanicals and Insects are combined to form new worlds that carry a feeling of whimsical wonder and delight. Jasmyn Krynauw uses scale in creative ways and repurposes texture and colour to tell new stories, both real and surreal, with these magnificent masterpieces.
